Le jeune ailier fort sénégalais, Mohamed Gueye a démarré avec Atlanta lors du match face à Houston de manière inattendue mardi soir, remplaçant Zaccharie Risacher dans le 5 de départ des Hawks. À noter que c’était la quatrième fois qu’il apparaissait dans un match cette saison après avoir fait sa première apparition le 4 novembre 2024.
Lors de cette rencontre, Mouhamed Gueye a enregistré 11 points et 7 rebonds en 22 minutes sur le parquet. Gueye fera désormais deux apparitions consécutives en NBA pour la première fois cette saison.
